Today, we presented the Prometheus project at Porta Macedonia in Skopje as a positive example of Creative Europe initiatives. This took place at an international event on advancing cultural heritage through European cooperation, organised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of North Macedonia in partnership with the EU Delegation and European House Skopje. Our project members, Slavica Babamova, coordinator from the NI Archaeological Museum of North Macedonia, and Elena Džukeska from the Faculty of Philosophy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, shared with the audience all the key benefits and achievements of our work so far. We also used the opportunity to highlight the nearing completion of our two-year journey, in which we have brought together a digital collection of selected epigraphic monuments from Serbia, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia, sharing the stories behind the stones.
Our presentation sparked inspiring conversations and received very positive feedback from attendees.
We are grateful for the support – stay tuned for future updates and new milestones!
