Successful presentation of the PROMETHEUS project at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"!
We are happy to share that the presentation of our PROMETHEUS Digital Epigraphy Project at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" was a great success!
Last Friday (05 December 2025), our Bulgarian team, led by Dr. Dimitar Iliev and Dr. Nicolay Sharankov, gathered in Hall 1 of the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” to showcase, in front of a local audience and online, our two-year work on the project, including the PROMETHEUS digital collection of ancient inscriptions from the lands of Bulgaria, Serbia, and North Macedonia, our webpage and storytelling platform, and the research behind the project. The authors and translators on our storytelling platform joined us to share the experience of their encounters with the ancient texts written on stone.
We are truly grateful for the strong interest shown by everyone who joined us, as well as for the lively discussion and thoughtful questions following the presentation. Thank you to all guests, partners, and contributors who made the event so special!
