Project Prometheus kicks off!

 

We’re happy to announce that the debut of the project Prometheus officially took place on January 31st, when our team members gathered via Zoom to plan activities for the following months.

 

Prometheus represents a collaborative effort of five scientific institutions from Bulgaria , North Macedonia , and Serbia , which have come together aiming to innovate in the field of digital epigraphy, as well as to render the rich epigraphic heritage of our countries more accessible to the public.

 

The participating institutions are:

Archaeological Museum of the Republic of North Macedonia, Skopje (Project Coordinator) / Археолошки музеј на Република Северна Македонија;

Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski – The Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, The Department for Classical Studies / Софийски университет „Св. Климент Охридски“, Факултет по класически и нови филологии, Катедра по класическа филология;

Institute for Balkan Studies, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade / Балканолошки институт САНУ;

University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philosophy, Classics Department, Belgrade, Serbia / Универзитет у Београд Филозофски факултет, Одељење за класичне науке;

Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje – Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of Classical Studies / Универзитет „Св. Кирил и Методиј“ – Филозофски факултет,

Институт за класични студии.
