The Prometheus Project at the 5th Dariah-HR International Conference “Digital Humanities & Heritage 2025

✨ Our Prometheus project was presented at the 5th DARIAH-HR International Conference “Digital Humanities & Heritage 2025,” organized by the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. The event brought together experts in cultural heritage, arts, and digital humanities from across Europe.

????️ During the program, our colleagues from Bulgaria—Dimitar Iliev (coordinator) and Dobromir Dobrev—presented the session titled “Heritage, Storytelling, Universal Values: The PROMETHEUS Project.” They explained how Prometheus puts a spotlight on the unique stories preserved in ancient inscriptions, using digital tools and innovative research to reveal their meaning for modern audiences. Through a combination of interdisciplinary teamwork and creative methods, the project transforms historical epigraphic sources into accessible narratives that connect people with universal values and shared heritage. The presentation illustrated how these storytelling approaches open new paths for education and cultural understanding today.

????The audience gave some great feedback and showed a lot of interest in what Prometheus has to offer. The conversation sparked new ideas and opened up exciting possibilities for future collaborations!
