Excavated in 1931 in the forecourt of the Central Basilica (Synagogue), north-east corner of the colonnade. Lines 2–5, Claudius Tiberius Polycharmus Achirius is referred to as the “father of the synagogue in Stobi,” most likely as an honorary title. In other inscriptions from Stobi (IG X 2, 2, 740–745), he is referred to simply as “father” (πατήρ); line 21, at the end ΚΑΙΤΟΥΣ deleted by the stonecutter; line 27, it is assumed that the patriarchate was located in Palestine; lines 28-33 L. Robert considers these lines to be written later than the rest of the text.
