To Artemis the Huntress and to the city. Zoilos son of Dioscourides and Kassandra daughter of Kassandros, acting on the instruction of Alexandrа, their own daughter, who by command of Ephesian and patroness Artemis, preserved her maidenhood for 27 years and, after marriage, lived with a husband for 8 months and 22 days in Pella.

Commentary

Artemis Kynagos and Artemis Ephesia are also mentioned in an inscription from Treskavec (Kolobaisa, IG X 2, 2, 233); l. 8 at the end καὶ was written at first, which was corrected in quadrate Σ by the lapicida himself, after he previously wrote a little C over the end of the previous word Ἐφεσίας, and he did the same in l. 10 also.
